Female cats and dogs have reduced uterine, ovarian, and breast cancers. \u00a0Male cats and dogs have reduced risks of prostrate cancer and disorders.<\/li>\n<li>Altered animals make better, more affectionate companions.<\/li>\n<li>Neutered cats are less likely to spray and mark territory.<\/li>\n<li>Neutered males are less likely to roam, run away, get hit by cars, get into fights or chase livestock.<\/li>\n<li>Spaying a female dog or cat eliminates the heat cycle. That means no incessant crying, nervous behaviour, or unwanted males lingering around your house.<\/li>\n<li>Spaying or neutering is a humane way of animal control. Many dogs or cats are euthanized daily. Many are tied up and shot.
